This condition affects approximately 2.8% of the world´s population. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is characterized by the following:
1. Inattentive symptoms
- difficulty focusing
- disorganized
- distractible
- forgetful
- loses/misplaces objects
- does not listen or follow instructions
2. Hyperactive symptoms
- unable to sit still
- hypertalkative
- blurts out answers
3. Symtoms occur in at least 2 settings
- home
- school
- etc.
4. Symptoms cause functional impairment
The symptoms can be predominantly hyperactive, predominantly inattentive or both.
Children with this condition can show heightened conflict with parents, other children and teachers. If you think your child might fit the symptoms, book a consult with your local pedriatician.

I realize, I've had this condition, since I was a child. I understand why I had so many problems at school.
Still, I have problems at work. Is there a way to control or solve this now that I am an adult?
